Single Walnut Cherner Chair

This is a walnut veneered plywood chair made by the Cherner Chair Company in the United States. A classic modern design, featuring the 'wasp waist' silhouette.

A decorative and practical chair for any room - we have placed it with a dressing table in the Showroom which works perfectly. 

Dimensions: seat height is 44cm and seat depth is 45cm.

Norman Cherner is considered a hero of modern design. He studied and lectured at Columbia University of Fine Arts and was an instructor at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in the late 1940s.
