This is an excellent example of Danish midcentury furniture design.

This extendable dining table can be set at three different lengths with each leaf measuring 55cm long. The table can be 180cm, 235cm or 290cm long.

Designed by Arne Vodder, this is Model 227 produced by Sibast.

We have 6 matching chairs too - they will be added to our website very soon. In the meantime, please get in touch for more information.

Arne Vodder (1926 - 2009) had a long and successful career. He worked with several furniture makers including Fritz Hansen, France & Son, Cado, and Bovirke—but it was his work with Sibast that brought him the most attention. He was interviewed towards the end of his life and was asked why he thought his furniture was always so popular. He commented on the timelessness of the design and the fact that the quality is still considered to be the best in manufacturing - giving the impression of being hand produced. We couldn't agree more!
