This is rare Hillestak desk designed by Robin Day for Hille London. Beautifully contrasting fruit wood top and drawer fronts with a beech frame and legs.

Made in Britain in the 1950s. 

The 2 drawers have these dimensions: 40cm x 38cm and a depth of 9.5cm. 

Robin's career spanned 7 decades and his designs are hugely respected across the world. He designed cool modernist furniture, including the chairs and tables for the Lakeside Terrace at London's Barbican Centre.
