This is a distinctive, slab-built, ceramic vessel vase in the manner of Ian Godfrey.
The vase has a tall, slightly tapered cylindrical body with an uneven, sculptural upper section. Several pointed, curved projections extend upwards and outwards, giving it an unusual, architectural silhouette.
The vase's colours include rich earthy tones of dark brown, rust red, ochre yellow and black. These colours form contrasting geometric sections across the surface.
